About me

In my musical past I have worked with many great producers in just as many awesome studios. At the same time I always had my own vision about productions and how I wanted my band to sound.
To be able to get what I want I decided to learn the whole process myself. When that finally happened I was also ready to produce, mix and master the music of others.

Back in the day I started out recording demos, slowly making baby steps as a producer for my own music. I also worked at a studio called Franky's Recording Kitchen for some time where I recorded bands, but wasn't involved in the mixing yet.

Then the pandemic hit, and suddenly I had all the time in the world to dive deeper into the world of mixing. That period gave me the space to grow fast, turning small steps into giant leaps.

My approach

I usually start off by mixing just one song to show the band what I've got and when this makes the band happy I continue mixing the whole album. I try to feel what the band needs and give them the sound that represents their musicianship best.

This approach has proven to be quite succesful as it makes sure that the band knows exactly what they will get and it minimizes the amount of changes to be made to a mix in a later stage, making the whole process a lot more efficient.

The band will only be charged for my work when they are happy with the result.

I’ve worked with everything from top-tier studio recordings to recordings made at home or a rehearsal room — and made them all sound great.
